Prepster Pullover

I realized the other day that I never published a blog post about my son's Prepster Pullover by Blank Slate Patterns!

This was his Easter outfit for 2013 and I used coordinating prints from the Out to Sea fabric line by Sarah Jane!  (Eva Mae's dress is the Goodship Dress - read about it here!)

I just LOVE this classic look and the shirt was SO EASY to put together!  I had attempted a boys dress shirt one other time (from a paper pattern) and I was so frustrated and confused trying to figure it out.

Mellisa (Melly Sews) does an incredible job with her picture tutorial to go along with the pattern!  I was one of the first people to purchase the entire Blank Slate collections when it came out.  (And one of the first to purchase the Blank Slate for girls!)  Since then you can purchase the patterns separately if you don't want the entire collection.

(The following are my affiliate links - but please note that my review on this pattern is 100% my own and I can confidently tell you that you will not be disappointed in this pattern!)

We had fun at the Opryland Hotel for the photoshoot!  Christian wasn't so sure of the dancing fountain though.....

Since Easter was on the chilly side this year I had him wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and it looked great!

That tongue is cracking me up!!!
